Welcome to the 2023 NIPM Virtual Symposium site! The Nevada Institute of Personalized Medicine (NIPM) will hold its next annual symposium on March 9, 2023, and will feature talks from Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) Research Project Investigators, COBRE Pilot Projects, NIPM Faculty and Affiliate Faculty Research, Trainee Research, Student Poster Presentations, and Keynote Speaker, Wayne W. Grody, MD, PhD, a Professor in the Departments of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, Pediatrics, and Human Genetics, at the UCLA School of Medicine, and Director of the Diagnostic Molecular Pathology Laboratory at UCLA Medical Center.

The Nevada Institute of Personalized Medicine (NIPM) believes that applied genetics and genomics can improve individual and systemic health care through translational clinical scientific research, workforce education and training, commercialization of technologies, job creation and clinical genetics services. The Nevada Institute of Personalized Medicine is the only established Center of Excellence for Personalized Medicine in Nevada that is endorsed by the National Institutes of Health.
