Welcome to the 2021 NIPM Virtual Symposium site! The Nevada Institute of Personalized Medicine (NIPM) will hold its first ever virtual symposium on March 4, 2021, and will feature talks from Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) Research Project investigators, Sciences and Services development at NIPM including the Genomics Acquisition & Analysis Core and COVID-19 Wastewater Surveillance Program, COBRE Pilot Projects, Trainee Research, Student Poster Presentations, and Keynote Speaker, Dr. Kenton M. Sanders, Chair, Department of Physiology and Cell Biology, University of Nevada Reno, School of Medicine.

The Nevada Institute of Personalized Medicine (NIPM) believes that applied genetics and genomics can improve individual and systemic health care through translational clinical scientific research, workforce education and training, commercialization of technologies, job creation and clinical genetics services. The Nevada Institute of Personalized Medicine is the only established Center of Excellence for Personalized Medicine in Nevada that is endorsed by the National Institutes of Health.
